Content Curation

There’s a huge amount of great content published every day online but finding it is a problem and nobody has the time to be browsing everything published in the hope of finding the good stuff. This is where content curation comes in to play. You can easily find the best content, imported via your curation feeds, and then create new posts to share that great content with your followers.

You provide value to your followers and you keep your own social channels populated with more content than you could ever create yourself. You also can easily stay on top of what’s happening in your industry by watching these curation feed posts appearing on your Content Curation page every day, instead of having to actively search for them.

In this article you will learn how to create new posts from curation feed content and then share it with your followers on multiple social networks.

Requirements

  • Some curation feeds added in the Content section.
  • An account on a supported social network – currently Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr.
  • An active connection in your Womplify account for each social network you want to manage.

Note: it is recommended that relevant keywords are also defined for your project.

How to Curate & Share Content

To create a new post with content curation:

  1. On the left menu, click Research and then click Content Curation.
  2. On the Content Curation page, browse the Curation Feeds Posts list and find a post you want to share.
  3. On the right side of the Curation Feeds Posts list, click the speech bubble to curate and share that particular post (see Figure 1).

  4. In the Post Item popup, fill in the details to create and schedule a new post (see Figure 2).
  5. Repeat the process to create and share more quality posts with your followers.

Note: a good way to use this content curation feature is to create Filler auto-posts which will be shared with your followers automatically when there are no Primary posts scheduled.
